Wśród wielu ważnych kwestii podjętych przez Dyrektorium ogólne o katechizacji, znalazła się i ta, dotycząca adresatów katechezy. Nie sposób skutecznie katechizować bez namysłu nad adresatami i ich specyfiką. Dyrektorium podkreśla, że niezmiennie adresatem katechezy jest każdy człowiek. Jednak człowiek ten jest konkretny, żyjący w danej epoce i kulturze, inaczej mówiąc jest to człowiek zawsze „nowy”. W tym znaczeniu dyrektorium mówi o nowych adresatach katechezy, jednocześnie opisując na czym ta „nowość” polega dzisiaj.

Among many important themes included in General directory for catechesis it can be find issue about adressees of catechesis. It can’t be possible to religious teaching without thinking about adreessees and their circumstances. Directory marks that still adressees of catechesis is every man. But this man is concrete and living in specific period and culture. Tis is always “new” man. In this meaning directory talks about new adressees of catechesis, and describes what does this “new” relies.
