An article will concern selected issues related to the institution of compulsory voting. The Authors will try to answer a question, what is compulsory voting and what are the aims implementation it in a democratic political systems. Based on making analyses and based on results of survey, The Authors will try to answer a question, is possible to take compulsory voting in Poland taken a political mood in Poland into account and is compulsory voting a panacea for all problems concerning a diminishing of attendance. As well as, what should be taken the other consequences of political and social character into consideration when we take a discussion about usability this one.
