There are countries in Europe that are characterized by atypical solutions related to the head of state. An example presented in this article is the Principality of Andorra, which head of state is dualistic – hosted by the French President and the Spanish Bishop of Seo de Urgell. Both are described as co-princes, which shows the closeness of solutions to those adopted within the monarchy. This article seeks to show not only the systemic solutions related to their functioning but also the practice, especially in view of representatives they are ruling by.
