Postępująca globalizacja oraz powszechna dostępność dóbr i usług na rynku przyczyniły się do procesu nieustannych zmian, w tym także w sferze działań marketingowych. Zaistniała potrzeba poszukiwania nowych rozwiązań, aby szybciej, sprawniej i skuteczniej dotrzeć do konsumenta. Jednym z takich sposobów promocji produktów i marek stał się product placement, tłumaczony w literaturze polskiej jako lokowanie produktu. Zasięg oddziaływania tej formy promocji obejmuje nie tylko media telewizyjne i internetowe, ale także media drukowane. Niniejsze opracowanie jest kwerendą literatury i przeglądem case study w zakresie lokowania marek w książkach z różnych kategorii tematycznych i kierowanych do odmiennych segmentów odbiorcy docelowego.

The increasing globalisation and the widespread availability of goods and services in the market contributed to the ever-changing process, including the sphere of marketing. There appeared the need for searching new solutions for a faster, more efficiently and more effectively reach out to the consumer. One of such ways promoting products and brands is product placement. The reach of this promotion form includes television media and the Internet, as well as print media. This study is a literature review and a review of case studies regarding brand placement in books of different thematic categories and different segments of the target audience.

Растущая глобализация и повсеместный доступ к товарам и услугам на рынке способствовали процессу постоянных изменений, в том числе в сфере маркетинговых действий. Имеет место потребность в поиске новых решений, чтобы быстрее, более четко и результативно дойти до потребителя. Одним из таких способов продвижения продуктов и марок стал продакт-плейсмент (англ. product placement), в польской литературе переводимый как «размещение про- дукции»; в российской литературе такой перевод не принялся). Диапазон воздействия этой формы продвижения охватывает не только телевизионные СМИ и интернет-медиа, но и печатные средства. Настоящая разработка – поиск литературы и обзор case study о области бренд-плейсмент в книгах их разных те- матических категорий и направляемых разным сегментам конечного адресата.
