Formal procedure associated with recognizing a given structure to be a historic monument has been carried out in a non-uniform and often an incorrect way. There have been no standard documentation forms. The Centre for M o numents' Documentation has worked out necessary draft decisions on the recording of examples of cultural property into a monuments' register. They have been published and in 1986 they were sent to voivodship monuments’ conservators.
