Propozycja zarządu w sprawie podziału wypracowanego zysku netto wyraża pewnego rodzaju kompromis pomiędzy bieżącymi interesami akcjonariuszy a długoterminową strategią maksymalizacji wartości przedsiębiorstwa.

It is generally believed that the payment of the dividend depends mainly on the net profit generated in the enterprise. In practice, the management boards of companies issuing recommendations on dividend payment take into account various aspects of the company's operation, including, in particular, current capital needs, the current level of indebtedness or the risk of losing financial liquidity. The board's proposal on the distribution of the net profit generated expresses a kind of compromise between the current interests of the shareholders and the long-term strategy of maximizing the value of the company. The article presents the results of research on the impact of dividend payment on shaping the company's financial liquidity. The study was conducted on a group of companies from the clothing and cosmetics sector listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
