Democracy in Cuba and its future are the important topics to all those who are interested in Latin America and its relations with Europe. On the same island, one can say, that this subject is a taboo. Starting from the concept of democracy promoted by international organizations as well as that contained in the Constitution of Cuba, the author tries to identify areas where changes could be reach, also responds to the question of how he sees the future of democracy in Cuba.
