Th e aim of this article is to present four variants of discussion (theoretical, problem-based, creative, panel) concerning various aspects of problem-based learning and traditional education. The paper contains definitions of particular types of discussions, examples of problems/subject matters that may be presented during classes with students and procedural descriptions of proposed techniques of discussions.
