Transfery zbraní rôznych kategórií sa spravidla riadia príslušnými medzinárodnými zmluvami. Transfery konvenčných zbraní upravuje Zmluva o obchodovaní so zbraňami. Okrem tejto medzinárodnej zmluvy sa štáty v transferoch konvenčných zbraní riadia ich národnými administratívnymi úpravami. Aj Čínska ľudová republika má vlastné administratívne predpisy pre export zbraní. V ich realizácii zohráva významnú úlohu vojenská diplomacia Čínskej ľudovej republiky. Článok poukazuje na špecifiká transferov čínskych konvenčných zbraní a úlohy vojenskej diplomacie ČĽR pri ich realizácii. Problematika je skúmaná najmä uplatňovaním kvalitatívnych metód s cieľom správne interpretovať skúmané javy a naznačiť možný vývoj.

The arms transfers of different categories are generally made in accordance with relevant international treaties. Transfers of conventional weapons are regulated by the Arms Trade Treaty. In addition to this international treaty, states in conventional arms transfers implement their national administrative regulations. The PRC also has its own administrative rules on arms exports. The PRC military diplomacy plays an important role in their implementation. The article highlights the specifics of Chinese conventional arms transfers and the role of the PRC military diplomacy in their realization. The issue is examined by applying qualitative methods in order to properly interpret the phenomena under investigation and to indicate possible developments.
