The purpose of this article is to examine whether employers employing employees comply with the provisions of the labor law. This study was carried out with the help of questionnaires survey, which asked employees to fill learners of extramural students. This paper presents the results of a survey conducted in April 2011, the study involved 235 people working, who are students of Higher School of Economics and Administration in Bytom. Respondents answered 30 questions concerning, among others. forms of employment, payment of wages, overtime, terms of periodic medical examinations, training in the field of occupational health and safety, working conditions and satisfaction with the salary received.
