Poland and Sweden are acting in concert for the development of cooperation in the Baltic region. It is particularly essential even if on that account, that population of eight states, belonging to this region, being the EU member states simultaneously, constitutes the third part of her citizens. So voices of the Baltic region are extremely important not only in the European parliament, but also and at the Council of European Union. Both the Position of Poland and Sweden, in the matter of the future of the Baltic region, is coinciding, i.e. from one side both countries can see the need to adapt cooperation structures to the new situation in the region, on the other great benefits from strengthening the relation are making a note in with the European Union.
