The aim of the paper is to draw attention to the importance of managing methodological and training activities (train the trainers activities) for the effectiveness of the Armed Forces training system. In addition, the paper also discusses forms of the methodological and training activities (train the trainers activities), forms of troops training, as well as training methods that can be used in preparing subordinate commanders for the proper conducting of the management of methodological and trainng activities (train the trainers activities). This is fundamental to the proper functioning of the entire training system, thus affecting the achievement of the basic goal, i.e. individual and team preparation to operate as intended. The most important duty of commanders at all levels of command is successful (effective) training of troops. This is possible only if the commanders are appropriately prepared to efficiently manage methodological and training activities (train the trainers activities). The author has presented the taxonomy of forms in the context of their use to prepare for the management of methodological and training activities (train the trainers activities), which is a result of the author’s own analysis and selection. Commanders performing the duties discussed above can extend this taxonomy or narrow it down.
