The research, carried out on a sample of 47 marihuana users, found that users of marihuana differ from the norm in the dimensions Impulsiveness, Adventure, Extraversion, Lie Scale, and Neuroticism. With increasing age, respondents' scores in certain dimensions fall (Criminality, Addiction, Neuroticism), while their score in another dimension (Adventure) rises. Comparison of urban and rural marihuana users showed that urban consumers scored higher in Psychoticism, while rural consumers attained higher Lie Scale scores. Men scored higher than women only in the Adventure dimension. In the dimensions Impulsiveness, Empathy, Criminality, Addiction and Neuroticism, the higher scores were attained by women. Those using marihuana once or twice a week display lower Adventure scores than those using the drug 3-5 times weekly. In comparison with other users, the latter group of consumers is more impulsive and seeks adventure. Users with a partner scored higher in Addiction than those without a stable partner.
