The article presents the role of two fundamentally different forms of accounting education: the certification of the accounting profession by the AAP and competition in the field of accounting. Both forms have a positive impact on education and supplementary on training of accountants, despite the fact that different goals are realized for different age of the participants. With these forms also increases the rank of the accounting profession in Poland.
