The article highlights the results of reasoning of the presence of connection between the level of economic freedom in the country and the level of development of labor potential of an individual. As an informational and analytical base for conducting the scientific research, there were used the results of study The Heritage Foundation & the Wall Street Journal (Index of Economic Freedom) and United Nations Development Programme (Human Development index) from 2005 to 2011. In addition, the article provides some theoretical generalizations about the content of economic freedom and influence factors that determine its level. Scientific publishing has a close relationship with previous researches by the authors of the article, as conceptual, model interaction phenomena of freedom of the human ā€œIā€ in the context of human work and its potential. These conclusions in the article have practical value for government relations; the level of competence applies to issues of public policy concerning the use and development of labor potential of people.
