Citizens’ broad access to electronic services, including fast Internet, as well as the development of digital solutions, make the factors that result in economic growth and in development of competitive economy based on knowledge and innovations. Therefore, the Supreme Audit Office decided to assess the compliance of the frequency management by the President of the Office of Electronic Communications (Polish: Urząd Komunikacji Elektronicznej, UKE) with the objectives set forth in the governmental strategic documents and with the binding legal regulations, especially with the Act of 16th July 2004 – Telecommunications Law.
