The article deals with the conceptual bases of foreign policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the modern threats and challenges, the formation and development of organizational and legal bases the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, analyzes the problems existing in the national legislation, questions of transformation of traditional diplomacy at the modern stage, the role of the Concept of foreign policy activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan to further improve the activities of the diplomatic service. In the final part of the article making suggestions for improving the existing rules of the diplomatic relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
