185 masculine and 38 feminine forms of ethnonyms were gathered from lyrics, poems and dramas of the writer. Among masculine the most frequent are no suffix forms and among formants the most frequent are -czyk and -anin. Feminine forms, in definite majority are for-med by formant -ka from masculine bases. Słowacki applies various lexemes and wordformations and in the function of ethnonyms he also uses choronymes and names of communities. These language means, first of all perform the stylistic, alike as infexional variant endings, including archaic. Several ethnonyms used by Słowacki have no confirmation neither in dictionaries nor in other sources, so it can be assumed, that they are neologisms of the poet. They were created according to the structural standards of ethnonyms existing in the Polish language.
