In her article, the author presents the history of the European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions – EUROSAI, and the role of NIK in its development. In the years 2008 – 2011, NIK was the Chair of EUROSAI and the host of its VII Congress. NIK’s presidency in EUROSAI is considered one of the most dynamic and efficient periods in its history.
