People are getting more and more concerned about the degradation of natural environment. Because of this, companies must take care of their ecological reputation and can’t disregard the influence of products or services made by them on the environment. Consumers’ demand for green products and services may become an important power to force producers to transform the ways of production into more friendly for environment. On the other hand some producers see this demand as an opportunity to make easy business and they cheat consumers, mainly by placing false ecolabels on their products. To counteract this some rules must be introduced and obeyed.
