Andrzej Wolski (ca. 1680-1744), subjudge of Chełm, came from minor nobility of the Radom county. Thanks to beneficial marriage, economical policy and protection of magnates he manager to make a career as an official and came to considerable fortune. His testament from 1739 mentions his career, family problems, contacts with magnates and nobility. Primarily it concerns his religious foundations, especially the church and Franciscan monastery in Chełm, finished in 1750, already after his death.
