Through a detailed examination of policies and strategies for urban biodiversity and heat management the article assesses the potential legal instruments facilitating the transition towards sustainable urban development. It emphasises the critical role of municipalities and the private sector in implementing adaptive measures to combat climate change effects, presenting an analysis of the legal framework and practical initiatives in place.
