The paper contains a proposal of the complex taxonomic measure construction for hierarchical model in regional statistics. The described procedure is based on the well-known proceedings using the development pattern. But it is conducted in a special way. Values of the measure for higher-level objects are connected with lower-level objects belonging to them by direct functional dependence — linear, in this case. The linearization of indices was made although it has not satisfied the above mentioned linear aggregation postulate. In consequence a metafeatitre was obtained which values for hierarchical objects are average of their values for sub-objects creating them. This property reflects the crux of hierarchical model and may be especially useful in practice. The efficiency of the proposed method upon the example of the labour market situation in Polish voivodships and sub-regions in 2006 was investigated. (original abstract)
