W opracowaniu omówione zostaną wyniki statystyczne dotyczące ochrony własności przemysłowej. Celem artykułu jest też skonfrontowanie ochrony własności przemysłowej w Polsce z innymi krajami. Materiał źródłowy stanowi statystyka GUS oraz Eurostatu, a także priorytety Programu Operacyjnego Innowacyjna Gospodarka. (fragment tekstu)

Results of statistical surveys on intellectual property protection concerning industry property are discussed in the article. Poland occupies a distant position, among European countries, in protection of the industry property. A slow growth in quantity of placed inventions in the Polish Patent Office is observed. Mazowieckie, Śląskie as well as Dolnośląskie voivodships lead in protection of industrial property. Projects increasing entrepreneurs' awareness on rights and possibilities to protect industry property and contributing to the applications on this property protection are co-finansed from European Funds.
