The 12th Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists - 'Kraków 2006' was organized by the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology, Polish Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the Institute of Prehistory, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. The meeting was attended by over 700 archaeologists, researches and students from 38 countries of Europe, North America, Asia and Australia representing different institutional and professional areas. In total 65 sessions and round tables were organized during the three lecture days with over 600 papers and posters.
