The article shows elementary theoretical assumptions of the administrative unification principle. In our times the administrative unification principle constitutes one of principal principles of the organization of administrative apparatus which determines rules of functioning and the way of organizing structures of the local public administration. The construction of this principle in the meaning way influences the intricate organizational arrangement and the mechanism of functioning of the public administration in the field, both of the one government administration as well as self-government. The author points on location the principle in the catalogue of the general rules of the administrative law and characteristics this principle through the prism of the typology of the general rules of the political administrative law. Appealing to the newest literature on the subject and the position of doctrine in this object, author reaches to the genesis of the principle of the administrative unification principle briefly, describes the structure and possible forms of that principle and applying them in organizational apparatus of public administration.
