Concepts of ‘Childhood’, ‘Youth’ and ‘Old Age’ in the Russian Associative Dictionary

The article presents the analysis of concepts of ‘Childhood’, ‘Youth’ and ‘Old Age’ based on the material taken from the Russian Associative Dictionary. The spontaneous verbal reactions show that the stimulus-words ‘Childhood’ and ‘Youth’ carry mainly positive connotations for the respondents, whereas ‘Old age’ evokes negative ones.
