In the paper was presented the comparative analysis of the chosen aspects of the EU labour markets’ competitiveness. The theoretical background of conducted comparisons were theoretical conceptions of the economy’s competitiveness (with especially pressure on labour market), including many differentiated aspects. Competitiveness of labour markets is very broad term and that is why it is very difficult for precisely defining. Analysis is concentrated more on competitive position than on competitive ability, because such approach gives the better opportunity to quantify existing tendencies. Data presented in the paper can be used for making more precise researches in the future.
