Substantial interest centers today on the usability of the marketing concepts and analytic instruments in description of the new economy developments. The purposes of this article are: (1) to identify the weaknesses of the marketing concept in that area and (2) to define the ways of his future development. One of the ways is to find compatibility with Value Based Management Concept, the second is to eliminate the „marketing methodological imperialism".
