Abstracts
The purpose of this article is to present the methods of acquiring of the capital on the international financial market by companies and briefly describe such financial instruments as: depositary receipts, eurobonds and foreign shares. The first part of the article referees to the factors influencing the choice of issuing market by the companies. The impact of issuing costs, formal and legal factors and geographical and cultural proximity on the companies' decisions is emphasized. The subject of consideration are also characteristics of the companies issuing international securities. In the summarizing the author briefly points out the advantages and disadvantages of international securities.
