The article discusses two sources: the occupational census and business census of 12 June 1907, the results of which were published in Statistik des Deutschen Reichs. These sources contain aggregated data for both provinces, districts and counties. These data can be used to study socio-occupational structure and a variety of economic issues. In this article, census data are presented in tabular form for the urban and rural districts of Grudziądz. The text analyses them and compares them with other districts of Chełmno Land.
