Celem artykułu jest określenie skali zjawiska kontaktu dzieci i młodzieży z materiałami pornograficznymi i seksualizującymi, roli rodziców w profilaktyce tego kontaktu oraz wskazanie jego negatywnych korelatów. Badanie zostało zrealizowane techniką Audio-CASI na ogólnopolskiej losowej reprezentatywnej próbie uczniów w wieku 11–18 lat (N = 3943). Wykorzystany w badaniu kwestionariusz poruszał m.in. takie zagadnienia jak: nadużywanie internetu, kontrola rodzicielska, kontakt z pornografią, wiedza na temat seksualności, ocena zadowolenia z różnych aspektów życia i podejmowanie zachowań seksualnych. Wśród badanych 43% miało kontakt z materiałami pornograficznymi i seksualizującymi. Chłopcy oglądają tego typu treści ponad dwa razy częściej (AOR = 2,228) niż dziewczyny. Ponad połowa dzieci i młodzieży (58%), która miała kontakt z materiałami pornograficznymi i seksualizującymi, deklaruje, że trafiła na nie przypadkiem. Osoby, które miały kontakt z materiałami pornograficznymi i seksualizującymi, ponad trzy razy częściej otrzymywały zdjęcia o charakterze erotycznym (AOR = 3,335) i ponad pięć razy częściej je wysyłały (AOR = 5,014). Osoby, które miały kontakt z pornografią i materiałami seksualizującymi, są mniej zadowolone z osiągnięć szkolnych (rho = –0,124), rodziny (rho = –0,182), przyjaciół (rho = –0,065), czasu wolnego (rho = –0,110) i życia ogólnie (rho = –0,155). Nie wykazano żadnych istotnych statystycznie związków między wystąpieniem kontaktu z tego typu treściami a zadowoleniem z własnego wyglądu. Brak jakichkolwiek zasad dotyczących korzystania z internetu ma związek z kontaktem z materiałami pornograficznymi i seksualizującymi (AOR = 2,134).

The aim of the article is to determine the scale of children and youth’s exposure to pornography and sexually explicit material, the role of parents in the prevention of this contact and an indication of its negative correlates. The aim of the article is to assess the, indicate on the risk factors of exposure and the relationship between children and youth’s exposure to pornography and its psychosocial and health variables. The study was carried out using the Audio-CASI technique on a nationwide random representative sample of students (N = 3943) aged 11–18. The questionnaire used in the survey covered issues such as: internet abuse, parental control, exposure to pornography, knowledge about sexuality, assessment of satisfaction of various aspects of life and engaging in sexual behaviors. Among the respondents, 43% had contact with pornographic sexual materials. Boys view this type of content more than twice as often (AOR = 2.228) than girls. More than half (58%) of children and youth who have had contact with pornographic and sexual material declare that it was accidental. Those who had contact with pornographic and sexual materials, more than three times more likely to receive erotic photos (AOR = 3.335) and more than five times more likely to send these types of photos (AOR = 5.014). People who have had contact with pornographic and sexual materials are less satisfied with school achievements (rho = –0.124), family (rho = –0.182), friends (rho = –0.065), free time (rho = –0.110) and life in general (rho = –0.155). There were no statistically significant relationships between exposure to this type of content and the satisfaction with one’s appearance. The lack of any rules regarding the use of the internet is related to exposure to pornographic and sexual materials (AOR = 2.134).
