Niniejszy szkic poświęcony jest problematyce postępowania dyscyplinarnego w sprawach studentów. Rozważenia oscylują wokół trzech wyszczególnionych elementów, jakie przyjęto za kryteria, pozwalające określić model tego postępowania. De facto model postępowania dyscyplinarnego w sprawach studentów stanowiący odwzorowanie – a więc ustalony na podstawie aktualnie obowiązujących w tym zakresie aktów prawnych. Rozważania obejmują kolejno: problematykę przedmiotu postępowania dyscyplinarnego w sprawach studentów, autonomicznych celów tej procedury, jej konstrukcji i podziału zasadniczych ról procesowych, a także określenie katalogu zasad postępowania dyscyplinarnego tego typu. W tle rozważań pozostaje pytanie o wpływ ustawy karnoprocesowej na przyjęty przez ustawodawcę model postępowania dyscyplinarnego w sprawach studentów.

The paper deals with disciplinary proceedings in student matters. Three elements, considered as the main criteria of the proceedings, have been discussed. The deliberations include: the subject matter of a disciplinary proceeding, the autonomous purposes of the procedure, its structure and the division of the basic roles in the process, and a catalogue of principles of a disciplinary proceeding in student matters. A question is also asked concerning the influence of the existing statutory regulations on the model of disciplinary proceedings in student matters.
