В статье описывается организация и проведения Большого террора в Грузинской ССР. На основе документов хранящихся в фондах Архива МВД Грузии, в работе исследуется механизм и методика проведения террора. Особый исторический интерес представляют показания бывших работников НКВД ГССР, которые были репрессированы на заключительном этапе террора. Статья завершается выводами исследуемого вопроса.

In the article we describe the organization and the realization of the Great terror in Georgian SSR. Based on the materials kept in the Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the detailed mechanism and the method of accomplishing of terror is evaluated. Of particular historical interests are the evidences received from the former NKVD official, repressed on the final stage of the terror. In the end the final conclusions are presented.
