Compulsory insurance is an obligation, regulated by law to enter into an insurance contract. One such insurance is compulsory motor third party liability insurance of vehicle owners. Compulsory insurance often makes products offered by insurance companies standard. The aim of the study is to assess the standardization of offered motor third party liability insurance based on selected European Union countries, by analyzing the premiums and tariff variables and bonus-malus systems used in the process of calculation of the insurance premium.
