Celem opracowania było ukazanie tego, jak poważną przyczyną trudności przystosowawczych i zaburzeń w zachowaniu się zarówno dzieci w wie-ku przedszkolnym, jak i uczniów w wieku szkolnym są m.in. diagnozowane u nich wady i zaburzenia mowy. Te nie tylko się pojawiają, lecz także nasilają z czasem, tak u przedszkolaków, jak i u uczniów mieszkających i w miastach, i na wsiach. Potwierdzeniem wzrostu nasilających się tego rodzaju problemów są wyniki badań, jakie od lat prowadzę na stosunkowo dużych populacjach dzieci w wieku od 6 do 12 lat. Wśród wszystkich diagnozowanych wad i zaburzeń mowy na pierwszy plan wysuwa się dyslalia wieloraka o stosunkowo dużym na-sileniu. Aż trudno w to uwierzyć, że dziś, w dobie komputerów i Internetu ciągle przybywa dzieci z wadami i zaburzeniami mowy, nierzadko prowadzącymi do depresji i do innych zaburzeń o charakterze psychotycznym, wymagających in-terwencji specjalistów.

he purpose of the study was to show how severe, for adolescents and school-aged children diagnosed with defects and speech disorders, are such behavioral disorders that may at the same time cause major adaptation diffi-culties. These not only appear but also increase in time, both in preschoolers’ and in students’ populations living in urban and rural areas. As the result of the constant growth and their increasing problems we have decided to conduce a research on relatively large populations of children between 6 and 12 years old. Among all diagnosed speech defects and speech disorders, multi-faceted dyslalia was relatively high in its intensity. It is hard to believe that today, in the age of computers and the Internet, the number of children with speech disorders is still growing and that they often suffer from depression and other psychotic disorders requiring specialist intervention.
