W artykule przedstawiono niemiecką Energiewende w kontekście trendów rozwojowych w politykach energetycznych Stanów Zjednoczonych, Chin i Indii. Zaprezentowano istotę i założenia Energiewende, podstawowe dane odnoszące się do struktury zaopatrzenia w energię oraz główne założenia i cele polityki energetycznej USA, Chin i Indii. Planowane i realizowane projekty energetyczne mogą wpłynąć na poprawę bezpieczeństwa zaopatrzenia energetycznego tych państw, jak i oddziaływać stymulująco na ich rozwój gospodarczy.

The paper explores Germany’s Energiewende in the context of development trends in energy policies of the US, China and India. It looks into the core and tenets of Energiewende, presents the basic data concerning the structure of energy supplies and describes the major assumptions and objectives of energy policies of the US, China and India. The planned and currently implemented energy-related projects may contribute to improving the energy supply security of these countries and boost their economic growth.
