W artykule przedstawiono działalność Unii Europejskiej w obszarze zapobiegania i zwalczania terroryzmu. Przedstawiono przykładowe mechanizmy antyterrorystycznej współpracy multilateralnej unijnych państw członkowskich, w których wykorzystano potencjał i doświadczenia kooperacji multiagencyjnej na rzecz bezpieczeństwa obszaru UE – rozumianej jako formę wielostronnej międzynarodowej współpracy służb policyjnych oraz innych instytucji państwowych i unijnych odpowiedzialnych za zapewnienie bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego. Działalność obejmującą wymiar prawny, instytucjonalny i multiagencyjny.

In this article the author analyzes the activities of the European Union in the area of preventing and combating international terrorism. The article presents examples of anti-terror platforms for cooperation of the EU Member States, which use the potential and experience of multiagency cooperation for the security of the UE area, understood as a form of multilateral international cooperation of police forces and other state and EU institutions responsible for internal security. The activities included among others arenew normative instruments as Conventions, Protocols, Plans of Action and multilateral bodies and institutions.
