Настоящая статья посващенная знаменитому композитору, исполнителю романсов,актеру кино и театра Александру Вертинскому. Предметом анализа в работе являютсяглавные черты творчества барда, а также история его жизни, прежде всего эмиграци-онного периода.Александер Вертинский был артистом, который пользовался большой популяарносьюрусской публики. Его отличительная манера поведения на сцене, жесты, костюм Пьеровызывали огромное внимание и эмоций среди зрителей, которые толпой приходилина его выступления. Принужденный политической ситуацией на Родине, Вертинскийрешает в 20-е годы эмигрировать на запад. Тем самым композитор начал свыше 20-летнюю разлуку со страной, следы которой ни один раз прозвучат в его творчестве.Большая известность вне России, многие концерты, международная публика и зна-комства, никогда не были в состоянии уменьшить в сердце артиста боли, связаннойс тоской по Родине.

This article describes a great composer, romance singer, drama and movie actor AlexanderVertinsky. The subject of the analysis is characteristics of the bard’s creative activity, as wellas his life story - especially during the emigration period.Alexander Vertinsky was an artist popular among the Russian audience. His specific manneron the stage, gestures, stage image - Pierrot’s costume aroused interest and emotionsamong the spectators who were attending his performances in crowds. Forced by the politicalsituation in his homeland Vertinsky decided to emigrate from it in the 20’s. It was the beginningof his 20 year long separation from the country that left the trail in composer’s creativeactivity and life. His fame outside the country, numerous concerts, international public andhis acquaintance were never able to reduce the artist’s wrench after leaving the homeland
