The paper discusses the importance of employment of disadvantaged and discriminated groups of the population. It focuses on development, social integration, education, work skills of disadvantaged people. The article contains information about current situation in Slovak republic, but also about theoretical background of the topic. It consists of 5 basic parts: introduction to the problem, the basis for the topic, practical impacts, trends and recommendations. The article is a part of the work of the author in the field of education management and employment of the population.
