Niniejszy szkic charakteryzuje cytaty biblijne, wykorzystywane przez młodopolską poetkę w jej liryce. Przedstawia się tu, jakie fragmenty biblijne i w jaki sposób cytuje autorka, zamieszczając jako motta wierszy. Analizuje się też, jakie związki zachodzą między cytatami z Biblii, mottami a tytułami utworów. Najwięcej uwag dotyczy związku cytatu biblijnego z treścią wiersza. W tym zakresie wskazuje się na kilka funkcji mott biblijnych: introdukcyjność, sygnalizację kontekstu biblijnego (teologicznego) i historię zbawienia, oraz dwa modele przenikania się treści motta z treścią wiersza, którymi są: analizy poetyckiej i model tzw. pryzmatu.

This draft characterises biblical quotations used by the poet in her lyrical poetry. What is presented are the biblical passages and the way they are cited as poem mottos. What has been analyzed are the connections between the citations (mottos) and the poem titles. Most of the remarks are concerned with the relations between the biblical quotes and poem contents. Moreover, some functions of biblical mottos are presented, such as introduction, biblical (theological) context signalling, salvation history and two infiltration models of motto and poem contents: poem analysis and so-called prism-model.
