Children’s knowledge about reasons and manifestations of emotions at the and of their preschool educationThe aim of the study was to determine the extend children’s knowledge about reasons and manifestations of emotions of their own and their parents. The method applied was interview with children using incomplete sentences. The results of investigation 120 children finishing preschool education revealed that they understand causal relationship between events and derived from them emotions. The children posses information about the reasons of fear, sadness, anger and happiness as well as resulting emotional expressions and emotional actions experience by them and they parents. Particular events have different emotional value for children depending on their cognitive appraisal.
