The focus of the article is given to the role and place of the auction house “Adolf Weinmüller” in Nazi art trade. Found that this famous art auction house in Munich laid background Modern Art in Munich and the auction house “Neumeister”. The owner of the auction house – “Neumeister” K. Stoll encouraged researching the history of Nazism by studying the case of Adolf Weinmüller’s archival documents. Emphasized that opening access to private archives of the auction house “Neumeister” – successor house of “Adolf Weinmüller”, which was not only to cause a breakthrough in solving crimes of the National Socialists but an important step in overcoming the consequences of totalitarianism in Germany. It is important to note that such explicit steps still do not dare any auction house in Germany. Thus was laid the scientific for a number of projects to find and declassification of archival documents.

Основну увагу у статті приділено місцю та ролі аукціонного будинку «Адольф Вейнмюллер» (“Adolf Weinmüller”) у нацистській торгівлі творами мистецтва. Встановлено, що цей відомий мюнхенський художній аукціонний будинок заклав підгрунття сучасного мистецтва в Мюнхені та аукціонного будинку «Ноймейстер» (“Neumeister”). Власниця аукціонного будинку «Ноймейстер» К. Штоль спонукала до наукового дослідження історії нацизму за допомогою вивчення справи архівних документів А. Вейнмюллера. Підкреслено, що відкриття доступу до закритих архівів аукціонного будинку «Ноймейстер» – наступника будинку «Адольф Вейнмюллер» – стало неабияким проривом у справі розкриття злочинів націонал-соціалістів і вагомим кроком у подоланні наслідків тоталітаризму у Німеччині. Важливо зазначити, що на такі відверті кроки донині не наважувався жоден аукціонний будинок Німеччини. Таким чином було закладено наукове підгрунття для реалізації низки проектів щодо пошуку та розсекречення архівних документів.
