Dana Mafalda Colarusso (B.Ed., M.A. English Literature) is currently completing her Ph.D. in Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Her doctoral study examines the changing role perceptions and decision making of English teachers in response to the tensions of an increasingly multicultural educational context in the global age. She is also a member of IAIMTE (the International Association for the Improvement of Mother Tongue Education) and assist in editing articles for its journal L1: Educational Studies in Language and Literature. Prior to commencing graduate studies, she taught high school English for nine years in Ontario, Canada
