Článek je koncipován jako zamyšlení nad (poněkud překvapivou) Aristotelovou tezí, podle níž z hlediska vztahů pohyb neexistuje. Tato teze je jistě dobře zdůvodnitelná, ale pravdou je také to, že odporuje našemu běžnému způsobu mluvy. Cílem našeho příspěvku je nabídnout řešení tohoto problému, které však s sebou nese dosti podstatnou proměnu tradičního aristotelského kategoriálního schématu a nové pojetí relativa.

The article is framed as a reflection on the (somewhat surprising) thesis of Aristotle that, from the point of view of relations, motion does not exist. This thesis is certainly quite justifiable, but it is also true that it contradicts our usual manner of speech. The aim of our contribution is to offer a solution to this problem that, however, brings with it a rather substantial transformation of the traditional Aristotelian categorical scheme and a new concept of the relative.
