The article reports results of the study which focused on the quantitative and qualitative illustration of mobbing phenomenon in the workplace in different sectors of economy in Poland. The aim of the study was to get the following information: the scale of the phenomenon in Poland, the identification of sectors of economy which are at the highest risk of mobbing and the identification of the most popular mobbing tactics. 643 adult workers employed in different sectors of economy over the country responded to the survey. The results of this survey show that almost 25% of the emploees responded that they faced mobbing in the workplace
