The publication presents the analysis of education results in the subject “Obstetrics, Gynecology and Obstetrics-Gynecological Care” within the years 2006–2011 at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Medical University of Bialystok. A comparison of effectiveness between traditional and distance teaching methods with the use of e-learning platform introduced for scientific research was performed. An attempt to assess the usefulness of on-line learning with respect to student education was made.
