A person with a stoma is getting in to a difficult life situation, which is not easily manageable. Due to the serious health situation, their life and life quality is changing. The first chapter describes the quality of life from a view of different authors and dimensions of personal well-being. The second chapter it discusses various concepts such as a stoma, an ostomate. The author deals with the social-health implications and consequences in the life of an ostomate and a family as emotional and social support for an ostomate.
