The author tries to answer the question: how to teach by art in the context of new, connective trends in education. On the basis of her pedagogical experience and conducted research, she describes the effectiveness of education consisting in combining different subjects and activities in creative action, especially at the level of development of a small child. Creative education and learning through art nowadays replace academic teaching methods, and in this light the role of the teacher is changing signifi cantly; the teacher becomes a guide showing ways to acquire knowledge and creates the conditions for acquiring various skills through real experience. Preliminary results of experimental research conducted together with the educative staff in the Crèches Complex in Warsaw [Zespół Żłobków Warszawy] show the sense of introducing education by art from an early age. Nurturing creative attitudes of children and carers in the education process positively affects the overall aesthetic environment of education.
