The presented study is a presentation of the phenomenological study. The essence of the applied research approach is to know the subjective meanings that the investigated persons give to the phenomena surrounding their world. This "meaning" is the basic meaning here. The essence of the analysis presented here is closely related to the way in which the researched group perceives the world in which it lives. Thanks to the method of interviewing, it was possible to reach the meanings that young people were sending to their families. Research has been subjected to their perception, understanding, perception and conceptualization - giving meaning. By way of this analysis of research material, seven basic family emergencies were identified, as indicated by the study group. Describing the successive interpretations, they were supported by statements in which the concepts were clearly presented. The isolated concepts are in two planes. The first is if you can make such wording, direct perception, family perspective in the first sighted look. The second plane is more deeply analyzed and perceived in the sphere of complex relationships and messages. The first three identities were identified: the family as a person, a place and a bond, in a specifically understood plane of direct understanding of the family, and four more: the family as teacher, carrier, donor and recipient as indications of the depth of the analyzed and perceived sphere of complex relations and message. The discussion of selected family concepts led to identifying the family as co-creator of the identity of the young man. The author of the presented reflections, based on the obtained research material, points to the family as the material the child and later the young person "uses" to build their own image of the world and above all themselves in this world.
